Q: What happens if my Certified Ghostwriter is unable to complete my project?

A: One of the advantages of working with Wambtac Ghostwriting is our ability to deal with life’s unexpected turns. All our ghostwriters have the skills necessary to step in at any point in the process and complete your project with you. Your Team Leader will match you with a new, equally proficient Certified Ghostwriter.

 

Q: What if I am unhappy with my ghostwriter?

A: We have an extensive and growing team of Certified Ghostwriters. If we cannot resolve whatever issue has arisen—sometimes the chemistry just doesn’t work—we will arrange for someone more suited to your project and personality to step in.

 

Q: Who is responsible for additional materials such as illustrations, charts, and photographs?

A: You are. We will create your polished manuscript and incorporate any additional materials you provide. If necessary, we will assist you with MS Word-based objects such as charts, graphs, and tables. We can also refer you to graphic artists, photo-manipulation artists, and creative artists.

 

Q: Does my contract include a Table of Contents and an Index?

A: A Table of Contents is included as a matter of course in all manuscripts, but we do not currently have the ability to provide an index at no extra cost. We can refer you to independent indexers.

 

Q: Who does the final proofreading?

A: Our proofreading is done by a cold-eye team member to ensure the highest quality for your final draft. If you prefer to arrange for a proofreader of your own, we will incorporate their corrections at no extra charge.

 

Q: How will I get my final draft?

A: We will deliver your final draft electronically as a doc, docx, or pdf file. If you opt for InDesign layout with your Final Edit, you will receive a PDF file.  You may also request a hard copy; shipping charges may apply.

 

Q: How long will it take to complete my book?

A: Every project is unique, but nonfiction business, self-help, and how-to titles typically take 5 to 7 months. Memoirs usually require 10 to 12 months. Novels also tend to take 10 to 12 months. We tailor each target deadline to the scope of the work, your availability, and any other factors inherent to the individual project.
